Recipe: Ragi Dosa

In this video, we'll take you through the step-by-step process of making the perfect Ragi Dosa. Rich in nutritional value, taste and flavours, we’ll show you how this mouthwatering vegetarian delight can surely become a family favourite!


4 tablespoon Finger millet flour /Ragi Flour
2 tbsp Chickpea flour / Besan
2 tablespoon Small onion- chopped finely
handful coriander chopped (optional)
Salt to Taste
1 teaspoon Oil



  1. Mix the Ragi flour, besan, chopped onion, coriander and salt.
  2. Add water to make a thin batter. (Thinner than traditional dosa but thicker than rava dosa)
  3. Heat a skillet.
  4. Pour 2 tablespoon of the batter.
  5. Spread it as best as you can.
  6. Drizzle oil around it.
  7. Cook for around 5 minutes.
  8. Flip and cook for another 3 minutes till both sides brown.
  9. Serve with chutney.
